Description
This car was sold new in the United States, then imported into France on August 16, 1988, the vehicle was then resold in unrestored condition on April 6, 1989 then purchased by its last owner on December 12, 1989.
Its complete restoration was carried out according to the rules of the art by a renowned company with the aim of transforming the vehicle into a convertible.
Using an original model, the hull was modified, reinforced structure and brought to the specifications of the “convertible” version.
The original “coach” doors were modified, and its specific deflectors manufactured.
The rocker panels have been replaced.
Hood arches were manufactured as well as two new tanks.
New bumpers and their overriders from Newport Pagnell were imported.
All body finishing parts have been shaped identically, from the original model.
The engine, gearbox and rear axle were reconditioned in England in 1993.
The electrical harness was completely redone in 1998.
Today his condition is impeccable!
Its paint, its upholstery, the engine and its surroundings as well as its bases are in new condition.

History of the model
1958, Aston Martin caused a sensation at the London and Paris motor shows by presenting the unprecedented DB4.

It was the first Aston Martin built in the Newport Pagnell factory (Buckinghamshire), formerly Salmons and Tickfords.
